He has long been revered as one of the many legends surrounding the world's most uncompromising sports car brand – Valentino Balboni, a remarkable test driver with his own personal cult status. Automobili Lamborghini now presents a model in his honour and bearing his name – the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni.
For several decades, Valentino Balboni has had a distinct influence on the character of the super sports car bearing the sign of the bull. With his fine-tuning and testing work, he has helped to shape many automotive legends, from the Lamborghini Miura of the 60s through to the current Gallardo and Murciélago models. Balboni was hired in 1967 by company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini himself.

The constant efforts of Horacio Pagani and his team shows once again how art and engineering can be combined in the Zonda Cinque Roadster.

The carbon fiber/titanium Roadster is expected to run to about 217 mph thanks to its 678 horsepower Mercedes-Benz/AMG V12 – a terminal velocity that's the same as its hard-hatted brethren.

The Roadster weighs 1210 kg (2,662 pounds) – a figure that Pagani says should help get the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds.

Made by Romanian tuning house MAFF, the Muron package adds all manner of fiberglass and carbon-fiber body panels to help accentuate the Cayenne's natural lines.

But the Bucharest-based aftermarket garage doesn't stop there, giving the full treatment to the interior as well.

Buyers can choose from a variety of cabin trim options, with various leather and alcantara.

choices are available along with carbon fiber accents and plenty of info-tainment choices to make your Cayenne stand out at the soccer field.

There are engine upgrades available too, topping out at 700 horsepower.

The EcoJet is powered by a Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine producing 650 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs that runs on bio-diesel fuel. The engine sits in a modified Corvette Z06 hydroformed aluminum frame with aluminum and magnesium structural and chassis components.
The vehicle's shell is an advanced construction of carbon fiber over Kevlar.
The EcoJet's shape is a mix of Cadillac's current design language and cues taken from F1 racers and aeronautical craft.

This is the Porsche Cayman S-based TechArt GTsport by German tuning firm TechArt.

Underhood, the Cayman's 3.4L six gets the full once-over. Bored out to 99mm, it receives larger pistons, a new crankshaft, sports camshafts, and modified intake and exhaust systems. The net result: displacement grows to 3.8 liters, producing a healthy 385 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque.
Cars equipped with Porsche's PASM get TechArt's VarioPlus coil-over suspension, which allows ride-height lowering of up to 25mm and lets the driver select between Sport and Normal suspension modes via a cockpit-mounted control. Regardless of which one is selected, the dampers firm up automatically in sport driving conditions.
